Joe deSousa is an artist in Leicester, NC who uses acrylic paints to recreate beautiful landscapes he has experienced or those shared with him by others. He has been commissioned to paint loved ones and loved ones lost. Joe has paid tribute to members of the military as well as first responders and medical personnel caring for members of their communities afflicted by the recent pandemic and other medical emergencies. Some of his works are on permanent display at the Marine Base in Havelock, NC, Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC and the Police Department in New Port Richey, FL.
